W A FLORAL ART SOCIETY INC 'JUDGING'

The West Australian Floral Art Society Inc being the recognised state body of floral art in Western Australia trains 'Floral Art Judges',  who judge at monthly meetings and other floral art competitions throughout the state.  

The West Australian Floral Art Society Inc being the recognised state body of floral art in Western Australia, trains 'floral art judges' who regularly judge at monthly meetings and other floral art competitions.  Judges trained by this Society Inc are recognised by the Australian Floral Art Association Inc (AFAA) and the World Association of Flower Arrangers Inc (WAFA) enabling them to also judge on a national and international level.

Judges meetings are held on a monthly basis and usually coincide with general meetings.  

Judges of this Society use a points system to assess exhibits and points are awarded as detailed in the National Australian Floral Art Association Manual (follow this link to purchase a copy)

Judges provide assessment at monthly meetings and are also available to judge at our affiliated clubs and other horticultural group floral competitions throughout Australia.  All judging, demonstrating and workshop assignments must be directed through the WA Floral Art Society Judges Committee to ensure judges are allocated accordingly and a record of assignments is noted.    To download a copy of the   'APPLICATION FORM'  for a judge/s to provide assessment at floral competitions, please click on this link and post to the Judges Committee Secretary as soon as possible.
