WA FLORAL ART SOCIETY INC 'SPECIAL MEETINGS'

The West Australian Floral Art Society Inc, as part of promoting floral art and 'Friendship Through Flowers' conducts two 'special meetings' each year.  The June 'AT HOME' Meeting, which is held on the second Saturday in June and our end of year Christmas Meeting, also held on the second Saturday in December is where fellow Floral Artists from other clubs, family, friends and visitors are invited to share in an afternoon of floral fun and fellowship.  Special demonstrations are conducted during these meetings providing an array of stunning and innovative floral creations.

JUNE 'AT HOME'  Meeting

In June each year the society holds their 'AT HOME' meeting where invitations are extended to members, fellow floral artists from other clubs and societies and family and friends to share in an afternoon of floral entertainment.     The 'Members Championship' competitions are usually staged during this meeting providing a 'Floral Feast' of textures, forms, patterns and colours showcasing the floral talents of members from this society and a special demonstration is provided.

 DECEMBER 'CHRISTMAS' Meeting

The 'Floral Art Year' for this society runs from December through to November (excluding January) of each year, and as the new year commences (December) special awards in a variety of categories are presented to members.  A special 'XMAS MEETING' demonstration is also provided during this meeting.  Invitations are extended to members, fellow floral artists from other clubs and societies and family and friends to share in this afternoon of floral entertainment.
